At Goldstein College (UNSW), his most recent appointment, Josh transformed the residential experience. College life at Goldstein is now student led and supported by staff. He also delivered significant enhancements for the collegiate community across the key areas of pastoral care and student wellbeing, student discipline, academic performance management, sporting, cultural and artistic programs and external community engagement.

Before working at Goldstein, Josh had a successful career in the financial services sector with roles at leading stockbroking and wealth management providers IOOF, UBS and CMC Markets. Previously known as the Vice Warden, the Director of College Experience will deputise in the Warden’s absence. Josh willwork closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the College continues to attract and retain a vibrant student community and to develop further, programs that optimise their College experience.

“College is a wonderful place for young adults to mature and flourish socially, spiritually, and intellectually. It requires innovative and creative thinking, as well as courage to stand up for what you believe will make a positive difference, even if others have a different view or approach.”

Josh will live in Oakes House and is looking forward to being part of our College community. He is excited to create a vibrant life experience that supports and celebrates inclusiveness and diversity, while fostering respectful relationships.
