St John's College boasts more than 4,000 living alumni. Many Old Johnians have recorded exceptional accomplishments professionally and through service to the community. In 2023, St John's College will recognise the achievements of alumni by holding the College's Inaugural Alumni Awards.
Do you know an Old Johnian who has distinguished themselves professionally, contributed positively to the College and/or greater community while serving as a role model to the next generation? If so, we would like to know!
Please nominate them for an award. Nominations will be accepted from 01 December 2022 until 01 April 2023. Each candidate will be carefully assessed to determine the degree to which they fulfil the requirements according to the criteria established.
Award winners will be notified in early June and awards will be presented at a ceremony at College in the second-half of 2023.
Three awards will be presented if suitable nominations are made:
- Young Alum of the Year: Nominees must have left College in 2010 or more recently.
- Community Service: Nominees should demonstrate a passion for service.
- Lifetime Achievement
Nominees are expected to meet the following criteria:
- Be accomplished or recognised for their professional, volunteer or related achievements;
- Demonstrated an outstanding contribution to the College;
- Serve as a role model to others, particularly to College and/or university students, ideally demonstrating a passion for advocacy and leadership.
