Dimity Adams is the Wellbeing Lead and Psychologist at St John's College, where she leads thex` College's wellbeing strategy, provides confidential support to students and mentors the Residential Advisor team. She works closely with staff and student leaders to promote a culture of wellbeing, belonging and early support across the College.
A registered psychologist with more than twenty years' experience, Dimity has worked across clinical practice, university research, program design and professional training. Her work has focused on supporting young people and emerging adults through periods of transition, with particular expertise in wellbeing, resilience and respectful relationships.
As an alumna and former Resident Advisor at International House, The University of Queensland, Dimity understands the distinctive role residential colleges play in helping students thrive academically, socially and personally.
