Luke Richardson is the Vice Warden at St John's College, where he provides leadership across the residential community, working closely with students, student leaders and staff to support academic success, wellbeing and community life. As a member of the College's senior leadership team, he plays a key role in student leadership, pastoral care, and the day-to-day leadership and operation of the College.

Luke brings more than fifteen years' experience in education across secondary and tertiary settings. Prior to joining St John's, he led the academic support and careers program at King's College, The University of Queensland, working closely with students through the opportunities and challenges of university life. His experience in the residential college sector has reinforced his belief that the best college communities challenge, support and know their students as individuals.

Luke holds a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Education, a Graduate Diploma in Careers Education and Development, a Master of Educational Leadership, and will complete his MBA at the end of 2026. Luke, his wife Bree and their three children live onsite in Oakes House, continuing St John's longstanding tradition of residential leadership and an engaged community.
