Last Saturday night Old Johnians spanning across nearly seven decades from 1959-2021 gathered together to celebrate 110 years of the College, 100 years of the Student Club and 31 years of co-residency at the Choc and Gold Gala.  It was one huge whipout!

Guest speaker, author and journalist Briony Benjamin (05 – 07) proposed a toast to the College exuding energy and passion reflecting on friendships, comraderie and the sheer joy of her time at College.

The Warden, Ms Rose Alwyn spoke of the many achievements of John’s alumni, honouring the rich history of the College with an eye to the future, in improving the college experience with a priority on student wellbeing, the master plan and alumni and community engagement.

In true Johnian spirit, the Dining Hall was filled with energy as our Old Johnians came together and celebrated all things Choc and Gold!
